Roman chamomile is used for digestive disorders, such as vomiting, loss of appetite and gas. It also can be used as a cream/ointment for skin issues such as cracked nipples, sore gums or irritated skin, or in a steam bath for inhalation to treat sinus issues. Scientific evidence has not been conclusive enough to say that roman chamomile works medically in all cases. More information is needed, but there have been claims that roman chamomile contains chemicals that may help fight cancer and diabetes.
