Fight Daylight Saving Time Fatigue with these Natural Energizers

Still trying to recover from losing an hour of sleep? Don't grab an extra cup of joe. Try one of these energizing supplements instead.

While daylight saving time brings an extra hour of sunlight and anticipation for the warm Spring days ahead, it can also wreak havoc on our sleep routine leaving us zapped of energy in the days that follow. 

If waking up in the dark has you feeling sluggish, think twice before reaching for an extra cup of coffee which can not only dehydrate you, but also exacerbate your tiredness later in the day.  

Instead, try one of these natural alternatives to tackle your energy slump. 

Moringa  

Nutritionists are singing the praises of moringa, often called “the miracle tree” due to its healing properties that go back centuries in many cultures. 

Moringa leaf powder is packed with energy-boosting B-vitamins and amino acids and also delivers a dose of calcium, vitamin A and potassium. 

Green powders like moringa also contain chlorophyll, which boosts energy levels by cleansing the blood, increasing the blood’s ability to carry oxygen.

CoQ10 

CoQ10 is a natural antioxidant found in every cell in our body that plays an important role in energy production.
