Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 15 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup Grandma’s® Molasses
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 Tbsp Four Sixes Smoky Maple Seasoning Blend
- 2 (15) oz cans Great Northern Beans or Navy Beans, drained but not rinsed
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and spray a 8x8-inch pan with cookingspray; set aside.
- In a cold skillet, add the chopped bacon and turn on heat tomedium-high.
- Cook, stirring occasionally, until the fat is rendered andthe bacon is starting to crisp.
- Add the onion and cook 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, oruntil the onion is translucent.
- Add the garlic and cook 30 seconds.
- Turn the heat down to med-low and add the tomato sauce,molasses, water and seasoning.
- Stir well to blend and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Stir in the beans until well coated with the sauce.
- Pour mixture into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
