Your gym may be off-limits for now, but the options for keeping in shape abound, as trainers, influencers and gyms stream their workouts for free. Here are some of our favorite sites and apps that offer videos in a broad range of styles, lengths and levels.

YMCA. It’s fun to work out with the YMCA! Visit for free workout videos in nine categories, including two for kids and teens: boot camp, yoga, barre, active older adults, weightlifting, tai chi, boxing, youth soccer and youth sports performance.

Active by POPSUGAR. This popular site is providing free access to workout videos by the hundreds, many of which are by top trainers and influencers. Genres include dance, cardio boxing, Tabata, strength-training, yoga flow, kettlebells—just about everything, really.

Crunch Fitness. Get a 45-day free trial to try 85-plus high-quality kickboxing, yoga sculpting, boot camp, dance and Pilates videos.

24GO. You don’t have to be a member to use this 24 Hour Fitness app, which streams videos—some of which are live—and allows you to track your workout history and create customized workout plans that sync to your calendar. Available at Google Play and the App Store.

FitON. Start by creating a free account, and then get busy streaming hundreds of workouts in 18 categories, including HIIT, beginners, pre- and post-natal, dance and barre, low-impact, and more. Celebrity trainers Gabrielle Union and Jonathan Van Ness lead some of the sessions.

MadFit. This YouTube channel by Canadian influencer Maddie Lymburner is always free, but it’s worth noting for its ever-fresh, quick-hit (4 to 20 minutes, on average) workouts, some of which are set to current hits from Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa, the Jonas Brothers and the like. Many work your whole body, but you can find videos to target specific muscle groups as well.
