Jourdan Baldwin and Niccole Hendrickson own KALO Fitness, a women’s-based small-group and personal-training studio in Washington Park, Denver. They have been working in the fitness industry as personal trainers for a consecutive 20+ years and their sessions include a blend of strength training, mobility and metabolic conditioning. In addition to their scientifically based programming, they also incorporate nutrition, breathwork, mindfulness and community building into every session. Pre/post-workout nutrition tips:
Pre-workout: If you’re hungry, eat a small, easily digestible carbohydrate that is less than 30 grams, 30 to 60 minutes before your workout.
