Jeffrey Eisner’s cooking school was sitting in the kitchen with his Grandma Lil as a child as she made her famous Stuffed Cabbage. “I love making serious flavors come to life with the simplest and most accessible ingredients and the easiest instructions,” he says. A former video producer in the public relations/advertising world for nearly 10 years, Eisner says that he was never fulfilled creatively. So as a passion project in 2017, he created Pressure Luck Cooking, a cooking blog that focuses heavily on the latest electric pressure cooking trend. “It all began with a video I filmed of myself on a snowy day making Mac & Cheese. I shared it on YouTube and Facebook and it quickly began to take off. From there, I decided to leave the corporate world behind and fully focus on recipe creating,” he says. Eisner lives near New York City with his partner, Richard, and sassy Norwich Terrier, Banjo. His latest book is The Lighter Step-by-Step Instant Pot Cookbook (Voracious, 2021).
