Chef Tips:

1. Check out your local farmer’s market because that’s where the freshest seasonal produce will be found. Plus, taking kids to the market and letting them see all the seasonal colors firsthand can be a fun and educational experience

2. One of the most fun things about seasonal, plant-based cooking is getting creative with whatever is in season, so go wild with the produce that looks too fresh to pass up at the market.

3. Plan a weekly menu. Finding 30 minutes to sit down with your favorite cookbooks and recipe blogs and plan out what you’re going to make for the week can end up saving you hours  (and your sanity). Keep a running list of recipes that catch your eye so you’ll always have plenty to choose from.
