Cooking Tips:
1. When it comes to timing for a meal, I recommend deciding on the time you want to eat, then working backwards and making a plan of what needs to be done. If you can delegate some jobs, too, that’s always a bonus.
2. My five everyday pantry staples are: olive oil for cooking; extra-virgin olive oil for dressing and finishing dishes; red wine vinegar as a good all-rounder when it comes to acidity and balancing marinades, sauces and dressings; and sea salt and black pepper for seasoning.
3. A giant stuffed Portobello mushroom instead of salmon is a thing of joy.
